Outdoor Velodrome Session

We have booked the track for our exclusive use to ensure the safety of our riders.  Please note that riders are required to pre-book all sessions by noon on the preceding Friday using the form below

Track information

The track measures 460 Metres so the banking angle is about half of that of an indoor velodrome. This means that riders can use their own bike for the session rather than hiring a specific track bike. Maindy Velodrome,  Cardiff.  Access to the Centre is from Crown Way, Cardiff, Crown Way, Cardiff CF14 3A

Parking

Parking is available at the velodrome. Arrangements have been made for free parking for all of us. To obtain free parking, immediately after arriving on site you will need to visit the leisure centre swimming pool reception desk and enter your car registration number on the iPad. Please ensure you register your vehicle to avoid being charged.

Session Fees

In order to meet the cost of hiring the velodrome each of our riders will be required to pay a contribution of £10. There will be no charge for members of age 5 and under or the parents. Payment can be made on the day to Neil or myself either in cash or by credit card. As well as the kids experiencing track riding the parents are very welcome to have a go.
